Pastor Michael Yaw Mensah Davies is a dedicated servant of God and the visionary leader of RCCG Lighthouse Abingdon, a vibrant parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. He currently serves as the Area Pastor of RCCG Region 2, Province 3, Zone 1 – Area 4, where he continues to provide spiritual leadership and pastoral oversight.
With a profound passion for intercessory prayers, Pastor Michael has been instrumental in guiding believers to embrace their spiritual authority and identity in Christ. His unwavering commitment to early morning prayers—most notably the "Commanding Your Week" sessions held at 5 a.m. every Monday since 2018—has inspired many to begin their weeks with fervent prayer and expectation.
During the RCCG Worldwide 100 Days of Prayer and Fasting (January 11 – April 20, 2025), Pastor Michael received a divine revelation on the 60th day to lead the church in 40 days of prophetic declarations, which culminated in the creation of his first book, Prophetic Declaration – A Prayer Guide. This guide has since become a powerful tool for believers to make bold, faith-filled declarations, aligning with the finished work of Christ and reinforcing their victory over life’s challenges.
In addition to this, Pastor Michael is the author of a second book, Rule by Decree: Spirit and Power of Declaration, which further explores the mystery, authority, and transforming power of prophetic declarations in the life of a believer.
Pastor Michael is blessed with a supportive and loving family. He is married to Pastor Mrs. Lilian Davies, who serves alongside him in ministry. Together, they are blessed with two wonderful children.
